 this past weekend in Arlington!

It's summer time at Whitworth Ranch Retreat! 

With all this rain, it's hard to tell sometimes, but it is... 

If you are looking for a fun getaway with girlfriends for a weekend retreat, contact us today to reserve your spot. We have a couple of weekends coming up, if you are interested. 

June 18-21

We will discount this weekend with a full booking of 18 for $1908.00 no meals. That's just $106.00 per person. This weekend is during the Great American Scrapbook Convention,  we will be attending as a vendor. The Arlington Convention Center is about 45 minutes from the retreat. It's a great place to take classes, see demos, do some make and takes and shop, shop, shop! 

June 25-28 

This weekend is being offered at full price. Full service which includes Thursday to Sunday, all meals included, and Massage Therapist by appointment only. Our rate is $228.00 per person. Meals to be included are Thursday dinner, Friday breakfast, lunch, dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch, dinner and Sunday brunch.

Mom and I are going Junkin! 

We will be getting up early tomorrow and heading to Mckinney, TX 

for the 3rd Monday trade days. 

This will be a new adventure for us, we have never gone before. 

We don't know what

to expect, but I am sure it will be fun. 

There is nothing like finding someone's trash and turning into a new 

shiny treasure. Some we keep, some we give away and the really

special ones get displayed at the retreat. 

Right now I am on the hunt for silver tea pots, creamers and sugar bowls. 

My guests will transform these

into beautiful pin cushions, embellished with flowers, head pins,

 hand dyed ribbons and jewels. 

We will also be looking for all kinds of fabrics.We use these to 

make beautiful centerpieces for our tables and our buffets. 

There is something great about finding that perfect piece

of lace that someone has thrown away. Whether it has a hole, 

a stain, or is just tired and droopy. We will tea dye it, add some sparkle and before

you know it, life has been restored.

Summer is here! 

 With all the rain we have had the pasture and yard are a beautiful green. The roses are all in bloom and look gorgeous. We have lots of retreats on the books and can't wait to spend time with all of you!! 

Now, if we can get the pool to just the right temperature it will be ready for everyone.
